Inside Design in the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam. Rooms filled with it's own atmosphere, colors and designers. Including the Richard Hutten chair, Bloemen Bureau Holland, the Toet- en Taartkalender from Uitgeverij Snor, great 3D objects from Freedom of Creation, Ineke Hans and off course lots of nice products in the Elle Wonen Store.

I am a big fan of the leather products of Keecie. Keecie makes shoppers, bags and cases in special shapes like dogs, pigs and birds. The products are handmade and they al have a beautiful screenprint inside!

Yesterday my daugther got this sweet birthday gift: a little notebook from My favorite Notes. A small book with nice illustrations in bright colors. For unforgettable memories, quotes, holidays and birthdays. Now she can make lists of her favourite films, books, food,(boy)friends and secrets...

In 2005 I saw an exhibition of Yeondoo Jong called 'Wonderland'. Yeondoo puts kids drawings into photos. 'Wonderland' changes fantasy into photographic reality, entirely made by hand. Yeondoo selected 17 drawings, and then recruited 60 high school students to act out the scenarios in the childrens drawings. He made props and convinced five fashion designers to custom make the clothing for the photo shoot.
Last week I saw the 'Wonderland' photos again and I think they are still very inspiring.
