.. the final week of Blogging Your Way 2.0 has started. Again, there is still a lot to learn about blogging. I'm taking it step by step. Reading a lot of content and usable advice from the BYW (guest)teachers Holly Becker [Decor8], Jeanette Lunde [By Fryd], Nicole Balch [Making it Lovely] and last but not least Katrina Tan [Pugly Pixel]!
It encouraged me to make some small changes on my blog. Like the header: I've added a new font, an inspiring quote and some main terms that fit the content of beeldSTEIL. I've borrowed a known quote from the American author, poet and philospher Henry David Thoreau. Apparently Thoreau didn't say this about photography. But it's so true and what my photography is all about.
.. we celebrated my son's eleventh birthday. After unpacking some gifts the kids started baking brownies and carrot cake. They made a large cozy mess of the kitchen. And after some cleaning we decorated the room with balloons, poms and masking tape garlands. At the end of a long day they were a bit tired yet very happy!

.. I finished reading a beautiful iPad magazine made by Frida Ramstedt from Trendenser. I'm glad to be the happy owner of an iPad. Now I don't have to miss the Trendenser Magazine with it's inspiring content, photography, product reviews and creative styling and DIY projects. Reading a digital magazine offers a lot of extras. You're only a tab or swipe away from more content, information and extra layers. Trendenser is a monthly magazine dedicated to Scandinavian home and interior design [iTunes].
