Who's behind beeldSTEIL?
My name is Wendy, or Wen.. I'm a Dutch photographer, stylist and blogger. I studied photography and interior styling.

What does beeldSTEIL mean?
beeldSTEIL can be translated as picture style, in other words: photography and styling. That's what this blog is mainly about.

When did you start blogging?
In 2005 I started my first blog. It was a private journal to keep in touch with family abroad. Because I enjoyed blogging so much I started beeldSTEIL in April 2010.

Why do you blog?
Blogging represents much of what I like: photography, styling, writing (although I like to keep it short and visual), interior design, graphic design and visual art. On beeldSTEIL I collect and share my inspiration, photos, founds and projects. It's a great place to learn, discover and experiment.

What kind of camera do you use?
I shoot with a Canon 5D mark II and my iPhone 4s. Occasionally I photograph with an analog camera such as the Agfa Silette, Polaroid or Lomography.

Can I be a sponsor or advertise on beeldSTEIL?

I love to work with beautiful blogs, brands and (online) stores. Your product or service must fit the style and vision of beeldSTEIL photography and styling. Please contact me if you are interested in a cooperation.

Why do you have a second blog?
Early 2012 I started my second blog on Tumblr: The Scandinavian Side of Life. It's an online pinboard about my other passion: Scandinavia. It shows Nordic design, interior and photography. It is a great source of inspiration for both my Dutch and my Norwegian home. 

Have I seen beeldSTEIL before? Online or in a magazine?
That's possible, I have done some lovely collaborations. You can find an overview on my media page.
